Family Policy Change Ideas
For this year, we are asking you to challenge your students to work together with
their families to come up with a healthy change together!
Some ideas for Family Policy Changes are:
No sugary drinks like pop, soda or sports drinks in the house | Try a new fruit or vegetable each week |
No TV after 7 p.m. on school nights | Family walks after dinner together |
Cook a healthy meal together as a family |
Family game night once a week |
Write a gratitude list of things you are grateful for as a family |
Aim to drink at least 8 cups of water each day |
Eat dinner together as a family at least 3 times per week | Write a thank you note to someone you care about |
